Additional Info :   The Bay County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division is asking for the public's help to identify the man who stole a 22 foot boat in broad daylight in front of security cameras that captured images of the crime and the suspect. On June 8, 2011, at about 5:30pm a man approached the boat that was parked next to a home in the 5000 to 6000 block of Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach, FL. The man attached the boat to his vehicle, a black early 2000 model Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban, and drove away with the boat. The suspect is described as a white male; about 6 feet with a thin build. He wore light colored shorts and a white t-shirt. The boat is a 22 foot Sea Hunt with a blue hull, an unusual color for this model boat. Also stolen was a Wesco aluminum coat trailer upon which the boat rested. The boat is powered by a single Yamaha F250 Outboard motor and the majority of the boat's electronics are Lowrance. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Inv. Albert Willis at the Bay County Sheriff's Office at 248-2128 or Crime Stoppers at 785-TIPS.
